This is how you adjust the window manually. Enter the following values:
XMin: -3 / XMax: 7 / XScale: Auto / YMin: -4 / YMax: 5 / YScale: Auto
Using Multiple Functions
Go back to the default window settings ("5 Zoom - Standard")
press tab
After "$f2\left(x\right)=$" enter $-1$ and press enter
To find the intersection of the two functions,
press menu > "6 Analyze Graph" > "4 Intersection". For the lower bound, move the cursor so the dotted line is to the left of one of the intersections and press enter. For the upper bound, move the cursor so the dotted line is to the right of the intersection and press enter
Use "4 Intersection" to find the two solutions to $0.2\left(x-2\right)^2-3=-1\quad x=$
Editing, Deleting and Hiding Functions
press tab
press ▴ and ▾ to scroll through your function history
modify $f1\left(x\right)=0.2\left(x-2\right)^2-3$ to $f1\left(x\right)=\left(x-2\right)^2-3$
hide $f2\left(x\right)=-1$ by unchecking the check box
add $f3\left(x\right)=x+8$
